Preschool Program

Our preschool features a diverse and stimulating Christian curriculum committed to nurturing the whole child in their spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical, social and language development. We also offer educated and experienced staff, a full-size gym and three beautifully equipped classrooms.  Children ages 2½ to 5 years old may be registered year-round in morning or afternoon classes.  In addition, every Monday and Tuesday we offer professional preschool music lessons with Ms. Gwendolyn Lush. For more information or to schedule a tour of the Preschool, please call Chalcea at 250-744-3457.

Registration info: we are now accepting registrations for the 2009-2010 school year which will begin Wednesday, September 9. Some spaces are still available in both the morning and afternoon classes.

Superkids

Our children are our future and we need to have a positive influence on their lives! Due to current events those who are growing up today face greater challenges than any other generation.

The goal of the SuperKids program is to provide children with not only lots of fun, adventure and friendship...but a real hope for the future! SuperKids offers children aged 6 to 11 with a safe place to make new friends and enjoy a nutritious lunch, music, games, prizes, Bible teaching and the personal support of positive mentors.

The program runs from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm on Saturdays.   The dates for this year's SuperKids program are: regular program is from March 7 to May. For more information please contact the Extreme Outreach Society directly at (250) 384-2064.

Girl Talk

We provide a place for women to get together where they are able to encourage and build each other up. We meet at 759 Bear Mountain Parkway on Tuesdays from 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm. We believe women who are empowered by the Spirit can accomplish great things for God. Girl Talk provides a forum for women to build relationships and strengthen each other in their journey of faith.

Quilting

The women's quilting group meets  Wednesday from 9:00 am -3:30 pm from September to May.  Items produced by this group are sent to needy people overseas. In previous years, these items have been shipped to the Ukraine. This year we plan on sending items to Estonia as well. We produce full-sized quilts, baby quilts, knitted and crocheted afghans, toques, and mitts. Though sewing skills are an asset, women with any level of sewing experience, from basic to seasoned sewing, are welcome to join our group.
